Kulekhani - Markhu Hike

You can take a direct bus heading to Hetauda from Kathmandu or any bus which promise to have kulekhani dam or Markhu on the way. But if you want to take a hike then you can have a night stay at Chitlang (Chandragiri - Chitlang Hike)

The way ahead from Chitlang will guide you to the beautiful destination Markhu where you can do boating, enjoy the beautiful scenario. You can even drive to the pace but if you want to enjoy nature and have a easy hike then you have to walk straight upto 15 minutes.

After that, you will find a y junction whose right path will lwad you to Hetauda and left to the Markhu. You will find the board as the picture below.
After some time you will find a school as the picture below. Also a ground space is supposed to be found from where you have to turn right.
Some miles ahead you can find a shed and a hiking route where you will enjoy the lust of jungles and the moist of the nature. Finally, after some time you can see the beautiful lake where you can do boating and enjoy the place.

One day hike near valley - Bishnudwar (Shivapuri National Park)

Bishnudwar, known to be  the origin of Bishnumati river is a beautiful destination for hiking near Kathmandu Valley. Hike to Bishnudwar is a thrilling experience. Jamchhen Gumba - monastery near Budhanikantha, Kathmandu

Jamchhen Gumba, also reknown as Jamchhen Vijaya Stupa is one of the beautiful monasteries near Kathmandu Valley. You can directly take a private vehicle or taxi to the gumba with the following instructions. But if you are taking a public bus then you can find sajha bus or any other public vehicle from ring road or jamal. After reaching Budhanilkantha, enter from the gate of the temple and go straight. You will find a Y junction where you have to take the road on your left and go ahead straight along with the road.
